Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Mars B Digital handles, why it is used, and the choices available when you visit the website or authorize Social Studio to work with TikTok through Postiz.

1. Scope and responsible party

This Privacy Policy applies to marsbdigital.com, related customer-facing pages, and Mars B Digital Social Studio (together, the “Services”). The responsible party is Mars B Digital.

Mars B Digital Social Studio is independent from TikTok and Postiz. Their own privacy policies apply when they process information through their services.

2. Information we handle

Information you provide

  • messages and contact details you send when requesting support or communicating with us;
  • content, captions, media, disclosures, privacy choices, and other posting instructions you select for a social-media post;
  • transaction and fulfillment information associated with a website purchase, such as contact details, payment status, product, and order identifiers. Stripe processes card details; we do not receive your full payment-card number.

TikTok connection and posting information

If you choose to connect TikTok, TikTok's authorization flow and the Postiz integration may process the TikTok account identifier, basic profile information made available under the permissions you approve, authorization scopes, access and refresh tokens, connection status, creator and privacy-setting information, and posting or upload identifiers and status results. We do not ask for or receive your TikTok password.

Technical information

When you use the website or Services, hosting and security systems may process IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, timestamps, referring information, diagnostic data, security events, and essential cookie or similar identifiers needed to operate and protect the Services.

3. How we use information

We use information only as reasonably needed to:

  • provide the website and the Social Studio workflow you request;
  • connect an authorized TikTok account and transmit user-selected content and settings through Postiz to TikTok's Content Posting API;
  • show connection, posting, processing, success, or error status;
  • process and fulfill website purchases and provide customer support;
  • secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Services;
  • prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Service;
  • comply with law, platform requirements, and valid legal requests.

Depending on your location, our legal bases may include performing a contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. User control over TikTok posting

Social Studio is designed to act on user instructions. Content is sent to TikTok only after an authorized user selects or reviews the applicable content and settings and initiates or approves the posting action. TikTok determines the account permissions, available privacy options, moderation result, processing time, and final visibility.

5. When information is shared

We may share information only with:

  • TikTok, when you authorize the connection or direct us to send selected content and posting instructions;
  • Postiz, which provides the social-media workflow and passes authorized requests to connected platforms;
  • Stripe, when you use its hosted checkout for a website purchase;
  • hosting, security, storage, email, and technical service providers that process information for us under appropriate obligations;
  • professional advisers, authorities, or transaction counterparties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a legitimate business reorganization.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or use TikTok information to build advertising profiles.

6. Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy. TikTok authorization information is retained while the connection is active or as needed to complete a requested posting action, then deleted or made unusable when no longer needed, subject to backups, security records, platform requirements, and legal obligations. Posting status, support, transaction, and diagnostic records may be kept for a limited period needed for support, security, accounting, dispute resolution, or compliance.

7. Your choices and rights

  • You can decline to connect TikTok and still visit the public website.
  • You can revoke TikTok authorization through the applicable TikTok or Postiz account controls. Revocation stops future access but may not reverse a post already sent to TikTok.
  • You can ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we control, or object to or restrict certain processing, where applicable law provides those rights.
  • You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
  • You may appeal or complain to a privacy regulator where that right applies.

Submit a privacy request to hello@marsbdigital.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.

8. Cookies and analytics

The public site may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies for security, traffic routing, checkout continuity, and core functionality. Mars B Digital does not currently describe or use the Services as an interest-based advertising or cross-site tracking product. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are added, this policy and any required consent controls should be updated before they are used.

9. Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. The Services and providers involved may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for cross-border transfers.

10. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users must also meet the age requirements of TikTok and any other connected platform. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the Services, providers, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably required.
